Junior Developer

Position Overview

As a Junior Developer, you will play an essential role in developing and maintaining cutting-edge web applications in the FinTech space. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver scalable, user-friendly front-end solutions. This position provides an opportunity to work with the latest front-end technologies, including React (v18), GraphQL, and TypeScript, while gaining experience in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Front-End Development: Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using React
    (v18) and TypeScript.
  • API Integration: Work with GraphQL to integrate back-end services seamlessly into the front-end.
  • Collaboration: Partner with back-end developers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality application performance and usability.
  • Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices.
  • Debugging and Optimization: Identify and resolve performance issues to ensure smooth operation.
  • Learning and Growth: Stay informed about emerging trends and continuously improve skills in front-end development.

Qualifications and Skills

  • At least one (1) year of professional experience in front-end development.
  • Proficiency in React (v18) and GraphQL.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with TypeScript for enhanced front-end development.
  • Bonus skills: Knowledge of react-router-dom, Vite, react-hook-form, or Chakra UI.
  • Prior experience in FinTech development is a significant plus.
  • Exposure to agile development methodologies.

Salary and Benefits

$65,000 – $75,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
